Getting married in Tulsa Parks

Did you know that we have several parks here in Tulsa that are perfect for your wedding. Like we stated in our post Where oh Where, most of them don’t charge. Here is a list of some of our favorite parks.

  1. Woodward ~ Woodward Park is a 45-acre public park, botanical garden, and arboretum located between 21st Street and 24th Street east of South Peoria Avenue and west of South Rockford Street in Tulsa. There are some great places here there is the little wooden bridge, the little inlay at the opening of the park, the fountain in front of the Historical Society Building, inside or in front of the greenhouse, the learning center garden, and lets not forget the rose garden itself.

  2. Guthrie Green ~ Guthrie Green is an urban garden and performance space in the Tulsa Arts District of downtown Tulsa. Guthrie Green is an urban garden and performance space in the Tulsa Arts District of downtown Tulsa. Located at 111 East M.B. Brady Street, Tulsa, just 7 minutes form the court house this is a great place for a wedding if you want to get your license and then do the wedding all at once. There aren’t as many places as woodward but it’s a lot smaller than Woodward too.

  3. Centennial Park ~ Centennial Park is a Multi-use park offering water play areas, athletic fields, hiking trails, picnic sites & a dog park. This is a little more out of the way park located at 1028 E 6th St, Tulsa. It has some wonderful place with a few waterfalls, fountains, and ponds. This park has great water features for your wedding photos.

  4. Chandler Park ~ Chandler Park is 192 acres marked by rock formations, trails, baseball fields, disc golf, a pool & picnic area. Located at 6500 W 21st St, Tulsa. This is one that most people don’t think about. It has a great view of Tulsa being up on the hill. It is a nice place if you are wanting a woodsy feel to your day.
